Project Scope
Tyndall AFB was devastated after it took a direct hit from Hurricane Michael on October 10, 2018. As part of the rebuilding, Caddell has been awarded a contract to design and build a new, 41,126 SF child care facility to support dependent children, ages six weeks to five years, of active duty service members with full-day, part-day, and hourly child care services. The facility will include age-appropriate child activity rooms, administrative offices, a staff break room, storage space, kitchen facilities, laundry, outdoor activity areas, and all other required operational capabilities. The project includes all utilities, site improvements, pavements, detection/protection features, security enhancements, and other supporting work necessary to make a complete and usable facility.
