Waterfront Restricted Area Land/Water Interface

Project Scope

Caddell was responsible for the construction of new restricted area land/water interface terminations, approximately 18 acres (1,524,600 SF), that connect the north and south ends of the existing waterfront restricted area enclave fencing system to the floating port security barriers. Project elements included: high security enclave fencing, earth embankment construction including structural slope stabilization and vertical wall construction, paving, drainage, and electrical infrastructure. The project consisted of phased construction in close proximity to an adjacent continuous ongoing mission and work within a highly controlled secure area requiring control of project limits and intensive coordination to maintain the integrity of the secure area perimeter.

Due to the secure nature of this project, no photos are available for public release.
