Project Scope
Caddell, in a JV with Whitesell-Green, performed the design and construction of a new Rotary Wing Hangar and aircraft maintenance hangar and parking aprons. Work included the design and construction of maintenance bays, maintenance shops, and flight operations facilities, safety and standardization rooms, enlisted flight training and aviator flight training areas, and associated training space. This project included connection to the energy monitoring and control systems, fire detection and reporting systems, sprinklers, protected distribution system, intrusion detection, surveillance, and electronic access control systems. Supporting facilities included all related sitework and utilities, lighting, parking, curb and gutter, sidewalks, fencing, storm drainage, landscaping, and other site improvements. Access for persons with disabilities was provided. Comprehensive building and furnishings related interior design and audio visual design services were also included.
