Project Scope
Caddell was responsible for the construction of a new air-cooled jet engine test cell of modular steel frame construction with prefabricated acoustical panels, acoustical jet engine exhaust muffler system, acoustical-treated air intake system with turning vanes, and acoustical doors. An ancillary building of concrete masonry unit construction, reinforced concrete, foundation, plumbing, compressed air system, JP-5 fuel system, interior and exterior electrical instrumentation and control systems, water, and sanitary systems was also included in the project scope.
