Central Laboratory & Office

Project Scope

The 254,000 SF Central Laboratory & Office (CLO) Building serves as the central hub for the entire Spallation Neutron Source Project. This facility houses offices, laboratories, conference rooms, and shop space to support a wide range of research activities. Equivalent in total area to the Superdome in New Orleans, its construction involved more than 350 onsite personnel at the peak of activity and required meticulous scheduling and contractor coordination. This project completed with zero lost-time accidents. Performed as 50/50 Joint Venture with Blaine Construction.
