Project Scope
Caddell performed extensive renovations, upgrades, and new additions to Terminal C and its concourses. Project scope included interiors/finishes, replacement and additions to the HVAC, lighting, power distribution, voice and data systems, public address, fire alarm, access control, and building area additions at both the ground and concourse levels. The 330,000 SF Terminal C serves as the principal facility for the hub operations of Continental Airlines and processes a major portion of the airport’s estimated 35 million annual passengers. Because the essential operations at Terminal C could not be interrupted, Caddell performed according to a tightly phased project schedule that was focused on only one concourse at a time and isolated that work from ongoing terminal activities.
