Distribution Center Modifications 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0

Project Scope

Caddell was responsible for preconstruction services and construction of a wide range of complex modifications to 350,000 SF of an active distribution center over the course of three phases for a new robotics program at a large leading retailer. Caddell was originally awarded the second phase and because of the excellent execution, the client subsequently awarded an additional two phases of the project. Close coordination with the facility management and the client’s home office was imperative as the scope was to be completed while the facility remained operational.

Scope included various construction activities such as demolition, structural modifications for the facilities sorting and material handling systems, new concrete, electrical and mechanical upgrades, and subcontractor coordination.
