Caddell Construction Announces the Promotion of Jamie Dorland to Senior Vice President, Commercial

Caddell Construction is proud to announce the promotion of Jamie Dorland to Senior Vice President – Commercial.

Dorland joined Caddell in 2021 with more than 20 years of respected industry experience. He has helped grow Caddell’s automation group through profitable, repeat business. Under his leadership, the company became widely known as an industry leader in ground-up construction for automation, as well as retrofitting existing warehouse space for automation coast to coast. Throughout his career, he has managed more than $2 billion of work and shows no signs of slowing down.

Throughout his career, Dorland has held roles of increasing responsibility, progressing through the ranks from project engineer and superintendent to project manager, construction executive and vice president. He has also greatly contributed to several company initiatives globally and serves as a member of the John Brown University Advisory Board.

In his new role, Dorland will oversee Caddell’s Bentonville and Phoenix offices along with the projects and teams operating within those regions, supporting Caddell’s steady growth in commercial markets.

Dorland holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology from Ferris State University and an Associate in Applied Arts and Sciences in HVACR Technology from Grand Rapids Community College. He is a LEED AP BD+C accredited professional and holds OSHA 30-hour certification.
