Project Scope
This mega-project included the design and construction of a 665,800 SF, 21-building, campus-setting, correctional complex for women on a 531-acre site. The project consisted of a minimum security facility housing 256 offenders and a low security facility housing 1,536 offenders. This facility houses 1/8 of all U.S. federal women prisoners and features state-of-the-art security systems. This project also includes a federal prison camp located outside the security perimeter for low-risk prisoners. This project is Certified USGCB LEED Silver and was completed on-time with ZERO quality deficiencies and an outstanding safety record with 2,012,792 MHs with only one lost-time accident.
