This is more than a recruiting role. You’ll work directly with Business Unit leaders and Hiring Managers to understand construction workforce needs, build strong candidate pipelines, and find the talent needed to support Caddell’s growing project portfolio. You’ll also represent Caddell at college career fairs and recruiting events, helping us attract the next generation of construction professionals.

What You Will Do
Construction & Field Recruiting
- Partner with Business Unit leaders and Hiring Managers to understand current and future construction workforce needs and develop recruiting strategies to support project staffing.
- Conduct job intake meetings with Hiring Managers to understand position requirements, priorities, candidate profiles, and hiring needs.
- Recruit for construction and field positions, including Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers, Superintendents, and other project-based roles.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to identify, attract, and engage both active and passive construction talent.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with qualified candidates throughout the recruiting process, creating a positive and engaging candidate experience.
- Source candidates through recruiting platforms, referrals, networking, social media, industry contacts, career fairs, and other recruiting channels.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates based on qualifications, experience, skills, and fit for available positions.
- Maintain strong pipelines of qualified construction talent for current and future project needs.
- Partner with Hiring Managers to coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and move qualified candidates through the selection process.
- Participate in the Caddell Welcome Experience, helping new hires feel connected to the company from offer acceptance through their first day and beyond.
- Represent Caddell at recruiting, networking, and industry events and serve as a positive ambassador for the company.
- Support additional HR and talent initiatives as directed by HR and senior leadership.
College & Early-Career Recruiting
- Identify and attract early-career talent through college career fairs, recruiting events, information sessions, corporate tailgates, and networking events.
- Attend college career fairs and other recruiting events.
- Screen student and early-career resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates for internships, Project Engineer, and other entry-level opportunities.
- Maintain relationships with students and candidates throughout the recruiting process to build a strong pipeline of future construction professionals.
- Represent Caddell and promote our career opportunities, culture, projects, and employee experience to students and early-career candidates.
Recruiting Marketing & Employer Brand
- Bring creativity and innovation to the way Caddell connects with candidates and promotes construction career opportunities.
- Develop targeted candidate engagement campaigns through email, SMS, video, and other communication platforms, including tools such as BombBomb.
- Partner with Marketing, Business Units, and HR to develop and execute recruitment marketing and employer-brand initiatives.
- Create engaging content for social media and other platforms that showcases Caddell’s people, projects, culture, career opportunities, and employee experience.
- Represent Caddell’s employer brand consistently and authentically across recruiting events, social media, candidate communications, and other recruiting activities.
- Coordinate with Marketing to develop and order recruiting materials and event resources.
Recruiting Operations & Analytics
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate information, communications, activity, and recruiting data within Greenhouse and other recruiting systems.
- Use recruiting data and metrics to evaluate sourcing strategies, candidate pipelines, recruiting events, and recruiting outcomes.
- Stay current on talent acquisition trends, construction recruiting strategies, technology, and industry best practices to continually improve Caddell’s approach.
- Identify opportunities to streamline recruiting processes and improve the candidate and Hiring Manager experience.
- Maintain accurate documentation of candidate communications, interview activity, feedback, and recruiting outcomes.
Working Conditions – Office setting, some travel and extended hours during spring and fall college recruiting required, full-time. If not in Montgomery, travel to the Corporate office regularly.

Education / Experience –
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, construction recruiting, field recruiting, campus recruiting, or a related recruiting function.
- Experience recruiting construction or field positions is strongly preferred.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technology; Greenhouse experience is a plus.
- Construction industry experience is a strong plus.

Salary Range: $69,875 – $93,200 annually
